The artist behind Tia Roso is Huda Abbas - a female born in the mid 90’s. She is first generation out of Iraq, born in Germany, raised in Canada, and has explored various parts of the world.

“I love to bring my visions into existence through eye opening works of art that capture and share beauty, truth, and love.

I’m mesmerized by many concepts, one of them being duality and its quantification into physical and metaphysical forms through the infinite lenses of the world we each experience.

Another concept I find myself constantly exploring is the vast and unending realm of spirituality and all of its mysticism.”

Huda has had a passion for visual arts for as long as she can remember, starting off with pencil sketches and moving on to explore various mediums as she journeyed through life.

From painting, to wood work, to jewelry making and more, she loves to experiment with various mediums to bring visions to life and create beautiful works of art that light up different environments and spaces.

I began exploring Islamic artwork and wood working in 2022 and very quickly fell in love with the process.

Islam is very dear to my heart and essential to my existence as its values, concepts, and power have and continue to bring me closer to family, peace, and love in this dunya ~ alhamdullilah. I am so grateful to be able to use this talent I was blessed with to portray the beauty of Islam through works of art that inshaAllah continue to spread good vibes to those who receive them"
